I’m not in recovery, but have struggled with severe depression and anxiety for years. With the help of Kelsea, I decided to try TMS therapy at Orenda and couldn’t recommend it more. Absolutely horrifying. I was a self-admitted 'guest'. You are treated like a criminal. Never got my medications in 5 days (blood pressure medication, etc.) I had a phone call from the Director of Sober Living Sobriety in Frederick Md. They grabbed my cell phone out of my hands and put it under lock and key. I checked myself out after dark and was dumped on the street. By far the best program I've been in the staff is caring and really helped me on my road to recovery I'm truly grateful for this program
Regarding the men's inpatient house in Buckeystown. Admissions here is one day a week for a few hours per week. I'm not sure what constitutes these limited hours because when I arrived I had my belongings taken for inspection, a pat down, and some e-forms to sign. I suppose these very standard procedures require very specialized staff. I walked into the outpatient office on Monday 09/23/24 Lost, alone feeling defeated as I slept in my car the night prior, due to actions of my own , but among feeling this way I needed to feel kindness.from.some where and Orenda was definitely that place .
