UPDATE: The 2-king bedroom has a big window looking down the main through way of the University of Kansas. Its a great view! However, there was a 4-5 inch gap between the pull-down shades and no curtain... leaving you exposed to an adjacent balcony, people walking down the street, and car lights at night. The staff wasn't aware, but after our stay, the assistant manager compensated us very well and I am sure the issue has been addressed. The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to visit Lawrence. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the A/C in our room that they were unable to repair while we were using the room. Unfortunately the hotel was completely full and they were unable to move us to another room. The manager Jonathan and the head engineer Andrew were very attentive to the problem. We were compensated very well for the inconvenience and the fan that they brought us made the room feel cool.
