I’m from South Louisiana and I can tell you that this joint will be the first place I hit on my next trip. Crazy good seafood tower, briny oysters, and that shrimp toast is a big winner. We ordered a LOT and everything was beyond great.

There isn’t anything ordinary at The Ordinary. Everything I tried was terrific. The food is top notch with the service and ambiance to match.
I had THE best meal at The Ordinary. My sever, Rachel, was also wonderful - and she guided me through the menu with a nice blend of expertise and enthusiasm. I ordered the caviar (hadn't had caviar in years) and it was amazing. Oysters, amazing. Seafood tower, amazing. Fresh wahoo, off the boat that day, amazing (so good, I ordered a second plate, dead serious). Crab rice, amazing - ate it the next morning cold out of the fridge and it was perfect. 10/10, would absolutely recommend The Ordinary, and will go back.
Everything! Try everything! Oysters. Cocktails. Appetizers. Every plate I saw on others tables looked superb too. But here is the very special thing about this place. THE SERVICE IS SUBLIME. We were treated with so much kindness. Five people on the staff approached us to make sure everything was to our liking, if we wanted a different seating, to present our drink and food with so much elegance! Always a smile. Always a caring attitude. Our server was outstanding! Returning soon for another food adventure!

One of my favorite restaurants!!! Food, service, atmosphere, oysters, fish, clams, bartenders (especially Michael), wine,etc. All awesome!!! Thank you Mike Lata for all you do in making this such a great place to dine. It’s not ordinary; it’s exceptional!!!
