The name is probably an indicator of what not to expect from this award-winning restaurant. We researched this place 6 months ago and decided it was a “must” for our Charleston vacation. It did not disappoint. We ordered several small plates as well as cocktails and took our time. Our server Charles read us perfectly and took excellent care of us. It was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

This is an oyster and rum bar. We had the double seafood tower and the oysters were very fresh and delicious. We went during happy hour, so it was cheaper than it usually is. Also had the milk punch rum, extremely well put together. For the double seafood tower and two alcoholic drinks during happy hour - it was just over 100, but i feel ir was worth it

This was recommended to us by a local favorite restaurant, but it really fell a little short for the amount of money we spent. Servers were great, but they can't control the quality of food. The food wasn't bad, we just didn't feel it warranted the high price considering what we are able to cook at home for a lot less.

Exceptional in every way! Prompt and courteous staff. Outstanding raw oysters. Of note are the BBQ Shrimp and the (Wednesday) special, fish schnitzel. All of the food was amazing. Great atmosphere as well. Highly recommend!

Stylish vibe. Cool architecture... and very good raw seafood selections. However, very loud and not cozy or intimate. Would not suggest taking your kids/family dining.
