HOA here does nothing but spend the homeowners’ money on ridiculous luxuries while ignoring important infrastructure needs (think water lines going to units, sidewalks, drainage , and I hear they are pumping groundwater without a state right to do so. That fine alone will cost thousands, if not more. Things are regularly stolen from sheds, units, and personal cars/trucks. Word of advice: Go elsewhere. Don’t rent 6869 unit B unless you want to be tortured by Frank and his girlfriend who live above you. They have no consideration for others beneath them even after having spoken to the HOA, filing a police report, and complaining many many times. Unless you want to pay rent to be constantly on edge, woken up at 6am, and unable to work from home. Cons: - Slow and/or unreliable internet options. Comcast download is fast (up to 1300 mbps, has very slow upload (35mbps) and goes down sometimes three or more times during work hours. CenturyLink caps out at around 140/20 Mbps but is more reliable for working from home - Community does not recycle - Loud. Constant landscaping, car alarms, inconsiderate neighbors at 3AM, roof work, cranes to replace air conditioners, dogs barking, ..... - Hot tub closed when pool is open - Trash bins don't get fully emptied and dog poop bags... read more
