I gave this five stars because it was so unique. It wasn't luxurious or anything, but it was cool and spacious and had good beds and pillows, and we were glad we went. It felt a little bit like the factory in Monster's Inc, and kids might love it actually. When my brother dropped off my mom and me, he realized it was called The Orbit because of NASA, where he'd done a couple internships in his college days. Cool building built back in Kennedy Administration for NASA. Windows in the rooms are cool. And being right across the street from the airport the planes taking off was hardly noticeable. If I had one negative mark it is the Bathroom. I do not like the barn door for a Bathroom and there was no exhaust fan.
Very retro and a fun place to stay. Photos from its NASA history on the walls and retro colors in furniture is a fun “blast from the past.” No carpeting can make things a bit noisy in the room and there needs to be a lamp in the sitting area of this large room. Close to airport with shuttle service you can schedule. Overall, 2 thumbs up!
We got in late to Cleveland airport. Called hotel for shuttle - someone came to get us after around 10-15 minutes (short wait for a 2am airport pickup). I had unfortunately booked the wrong room type (my fault). Nada at the front desk was very helpful working with us at the front desk when we check we checked in. Cherie the manager the next day also was very helpful. Would highly recommend for a hotel near CLE airport.
