I got a prescription refill from Dr. Tom for my dry eyes. The med needs pre-approval before it can be filled by a pharmacy. I encountered all kinds of delays with multiple calls to my insurance provider for 2 weeks. I greatly appreciate Dr. Tom's office staff staying on-line with me, the insurance provider customer service and their pre-approval department to get this resolved. I have seen Dr. Tom since 1984. I have nothing but praise with their services.
I love this place! They've have always gone above and beyond. My mom had an eye infection and after two urgent care visits she came to the optometry group but the doctors were not in that day. Maribel called one of the doctor's and they came in to help my mom!!! I don't know any place that would do so much to help their patients!
I had a prescription from last year that was hard to adjust my eye to and was stupid not to of gone back to let that optometrist know. But I think it was a good thing because it lead me to The Optometry Group. Nice office and their staff were Great, Dr Marylyn Townsend took her time, I felt I was a bad patient due to not being able to see the chart and she kept trying this and that optic. Everyone is so nice and helpful, prices are good and very good selection. They also help me pick our frames
Overpriced and Terrible. I went here because I moved down here and had to find a new eye doctor. The entire eye exam process and Dr consult seemed extremely unprofessional and not very knowledgeable or experienced in general. After the exam the Dr told me they didn't have trial contacts in the new prescription that I would be switching to or my old prescription so theye gave me a pair that were worse then my old prescription to wear so I had no way if trialing the new prescription to see if it was good.
