Better off going to olive garden – I have been there twice and both times was disappointed. Once I went during lunch and thought maybe it was just th ecook so tried it for dinner one night and ordered chicken parmesan and it was rubbery not good at all. I am an italian food lover and have had chicken parmesan at many different restaurants and I hate to say this was the worst.
Don't Bother – Ate there with friends a few weeks ago. The salad was just short of compost ready, the sauce ingredients were straight from the can and the temperature was lukewarm. Don't waste your money.
Tried and True – This has been a family favorite for years. You can't go wrong with the mizithra cheese spaghetti.
Not what it used to be – Limited selection menu, over priced drinks, bus boy almost broke my arm with the dish holder. Not on my list of places to go ever again!
Expensive for mediocre spaghetti – We like the spaghetti factory for the decor and service and the two or three menu items that we find really good (such as the cheesy buttery spaghetti). But overall the prices are just too high for what amounts to mediocre food. For example, the "caesar" salad is just a pile of regular salad mix from a bag, complete with carrots and other slivers of vegetables, covered in caesar dressing. How can you honestly be too cheap to make a correct caesar salad? The chicken marsala, normally a favor... read more
Family friendly, great atmosphere and fantastic food! – Excellent atomosphere....very family and child friendly service. My kids love going to the spaghetti factory. They think sitting in the trolley is so fun. They have delicious food and resonably priced- bread, salad, entre and dessert...you get so much great food for your money there!! The spaghetti factory is always my family's number one choice.
This place is great! – They took great care of my family on a special birthday. The mizzithra dinner is my favorite there!
Bad incident – I am/was a loyal customer - I grew up going to the restaurant with family - I go on average 1x/month with the family. An incident now 12 days ago - I had a shard of glass (1 inch length) in the spaghetti - it cut my tongue and my palate - fortunately I saw the bleeding out of my mouth and stopped chewing, I retrieved the glass and controlled the bleeding without making a scene in the restaurant. My wife, 3 and 5 yr old kids were at the table. This is not a joke. Obviously the meal was paid for, talked with man... read more
Great Time! – My husband and I decided to book our daughter's wedding dinner at the Taylorsville location and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the price simply couldn't be beat, (I shopped around quite a bit before making my final decision). I would recommend this place to anyone. Large or small group! Thanks again Old Spaghetti Factory for making our special day an event to remember!
