Old Salty Dog is the worst restaurant in Siesta Key! We are locals to the Siesta Key area and we decided to try our luck with the Old Salty Dog since we had family in town. I strongly suggest NO ONE to waste their time and money in this establishment. We started out with the worst waitress that I can honestly say we have ever had. Then my husband went to order the crab cakes and the waitress informed us that the crab meat was immitation crab. great stop after the beach The patio at Old Salty Dog is very nice, cute with the dog dishes and dog friendly atmosphere. They have TV's out on the patio. It's a great location to stop after a day at the beach. Good food.
Fun Place Now for Sarasota this place is cool, and for Siesta Key this place is still at the top, towards the end of the western side. The place has great a dinning area, bar, and patio. They always have the sports games on. Menu is good and simple, clam strips to crab they have it all. Patio is dog pet friendly.
Casual Seafood Fabulous grouper sandwiches that you can wash down with an ice cold beer. Full bar available. Nice spot to dine after the beach. Limited menu, but reasonably priced.
