I have been eating blackened mahi mahi fish sandwiches at the Old Salty Dog restaurant for thirty years. First they take blue moon beer off menu and now they tell me they are no longer going to have mahi sandwiches on their menu. But I can get mahi tacos. Shut up!!!!!! Manager gave me some bullshit story about fishing regulations. No, you are going cheap and do not want to pay for premium fish. Guess what, you just lost my business! Used to be my favorite place! A good restaurant keeps their locals happy!
The staff were very friendly and the food was great!
Try the grouper Ruben, it's excellent. And of course always a must is a hot dog!
So went there over spring break and it was the worst service ever. The girl who greeted us at the door was extremely rude and I can't believe they would let someone so rude work at their restaurant.
Great food and service. We stop by whenever we are in Sarasota.
Food was fine, would prefer lettuce and tomato on my steak and cheese.
Stop every time come down to visit. The margaritas are great and the mushrooms. Love this place!!
