Beautiful place
I spent a lovely 2 nights here with 8 other sewing friends, and we all had a fantastic time. The bedrooms in Willmann house were very comfortable, and the old school was well equipped for our sewing, including cutting tables. I absolutely loved all the old world charm and bric-a-brac.
Thanks Wendy for an amazing stay at The Old Laravale School. I’m still on a high after our sewing retreat - the facilities at both the schoolhouse and the accommodation house were amazing. And the extra little touches like the freshly baked bread was much appreciated. I can’t rate The Old Laravale School highly enough and can’t wait to return next year!
A wonderful sewing retreat that aced it in spades with a warm welcome from Wendy, a well appointed home beautifully decorated in old world charm and a sewing room that wants for nothing. I’d highly recommend this retreat. We had 9 in our group and it was perfect.
✨ Spent a weekend here for three days of sewing and it was absolutely fantastic. The space is beautifully set up—not just for sewing, but also for a really comfortable and relaxing stay.
