Great place, decorated with exotic & unique nick nacks. Went to see my son's band Fractured Frames perform on Friday night. Excellent vibe to the place. Great selection of drinks! The band was amazing! As well as the other 2 bands that played. I was very impressed with the cigarette machine they had! Awesome blast from the past! Beautiful lady bar tender who offered good advice on drinks! Thanks pretty lady, I believe it's called the 'Hooch Punch' It's great! The only negative thing I can say is its a small place.
The bar where the real Freaks of Asheville hang out. Where else do you see a circus sideshow, a metal show, an Eastern European touring band, stand up comedy, and a fetus in a jar, all in the same week. Not to mention Jennie Lou Nelson is the best bartender in town. Have you seen her meme-worthy bloody mary's?
I love the ODD. I cannot even think of something that could make it better. Great staff, drinks/prices, decor, and performances.
