Just saw that Oceanaire is slipping in a 3% "tax" due to rising costs of doing business in Boston. Really?? If you can't afford to be here or just pay folks what they deserve, maybe you and your billionaire chef should locate elsewhere. Instead, we pay a premium for great food and atmosphere, and then are treated to a 3% bonus bill...my business will be going elsewhere...
Food and service was amazing! I had the chicken chop (yes at a seafood restaurant). Nice ambiance too!
Excellent service, great staff and most of all food is delicious! Also want to mention the restaurant's beautiful design and awesome bar set up. Definitely worth visiting.
Excellent service, great atmosphere and the greatest Steak I have had in a while... Definitely a place to come back....
To be fair the main course was cooked very nicely but the escargot for an appetizer was covered in so much garlic I had no clue what I was eating; the fried calamari was fine but I've had similar at fish stands. Not worth the $165 for two.
Clam chowder was bland, no taste. Being in Boston could not believe has bad the chowder tasted, very disappointed. Shrimp scampi was awesome, great taste, good portions. Shrimp cooked to perfection.
The good was superb! Our waitress, Sophia, was pleasant, attentive and she helped make our dining experience wonderful. The price was high, but I left happy.
