Loved it!! Food was amazing!!! Service was even better!
I came to Charleston with a list and a plan...and every one of the places that the travel shows and blogs urged me to visit left me disappointed. All hype, pomp, and swagger. Discovering The Obstinate Daughter was a chance encounter while out exploring the town. It was, without any doubt, the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The hostess - dealing with a full house - found us a spot at the bar, and promised to find us a table as soon as she could. She delivered promptly. Love this place! Usually have dinner... Love the pizzas and grilled octopus. First time for brunch. We will be back. We both had the "eggs in purgatory" , the dish was phenomenal!!!
We ate here for my mom's bday and it was wonderful. The service was great and the food was fantastic.
Food was outstanding! I highly recommend the Farro and Chicken brunch appetizer. Pizza and Shrimp Po-Boy were perfect as well! We went mid-afternoon and were seated no problem. It was pre -season, not sure that would work year round. Suggest reservations!
I'm usually pretty picky about eating out. But I must say. There is nothing they could have done better. The service, atmosphere and especially the food was all top notch. Just what you'd expect from a high end restaurant. But without the stuffy atmosphere. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
What a cool space! And even cooler was our server Anna! She was amazing and so knowledgeable! The food was unbelievable. So fresh so unique! Can't wait to return!
First experience was excellent. I must admit, the menu is "different" but we love different. Our choices turned out great. Equally impressive was our service. Tiffany was phenominal and knows the menu/specials, with intricate details, like the back of her hand. Bottomline....impressive!
Great food, first-rate service, wonderful and relaxing atmosphere.
