I am currently a resident at the oaks at normandy at first we were in love with the apartment, it was close to family and our sons daycare. THEN the bugs came. We have gotten no help whatsoever from management bugs crawling up and down the walls. The exterminator only spraying in the kitchen area and bathrooms and calling it a day. They made us feel like it was our faults when we were barely even home to begin with. Come to find out or neighbors were having issues as well and had to pay for their own exterminator. Unprofessional staff. Paper thin walls. Have had to have exterminator come to apt. Multiple times. Poor location (vehicle burglary). Grounds are very basic with sparse landscaping. No security. Would suggest paying the extra money to live somewhere nicer. Cheap. Constant complaints from neighbors about anything they can come up with. False accusations without any proof. Little storage space.
I have lived in these apartments since the end of February 2014 and the property manager is extremely rude!!! My A/C unit has not been working properly for months. The bedroom cools, but the rest of the apartment is hot. After 2 very hot summer months (and management asking me if I know how to work a thermostat) the maintenance man discovers that my A/C unit has no freon. However even after adding freon, the A/C is still not working and it runs nonstop without cooling - so for the past 2 months my bill has tripled. After no ... read more
Since mgr Debbie left complex has not been kept clean breezeways are filthy and dirty trash on sidewalks and parking lots this place has downgraded
In regard to the complaint filed by resident Johneisha. Resident 1st reported her AC problem to our Leasing Office on May 20, 2013 that was resolved same date. Additonal call received 5/23 late PM, due to current weather conditions our staff reponded the next business day resolving the matter. On May 30, resident called again late PM, my staff responded next business day finding the air handler stopped working which was a separate issue from her 1st call. These are the worst apartments in the world. The property manager is the rudest person I have ever met. My A/C unit went out and it has taken over a month to fix it. I and my family had to live in an 85 degree apartment in the SUMMER. They have a so called 24 hour emergency maintenance hotline that does not do anything. These are the worst apartments EVER!!!!!!
