A small, unexpected gem. In a romantic little town, off the more travelled routes, this property turns out to be a truly pleasant discovery. The rooms are spacious, decorated in a calming, minimalist Nordic style, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay — one of those places where you naturally wish you could stay longer. A great night with a group of friends. Excellent service, wine and food. Good vibes and lovely staff. Really enjoyed our dinner.
Visited the Oak & Anchor just for a quick beverage in the sunshine. Ended up staying three hours as the live music in the garden (The Zest and Darren on acoustic set) was so good and the crowd were some of the friendliest ever. Good vibes, affordable drinks, friendly service. The building itself is beautifully restored, the restaurant inside looked great so will be back next time !!
