A Waste of Space on Main Street – I've been to Mani's several times. Each time worse than the time before, culminating in my most recent experience which led to my vow never to go back. Mani's has consistently bad service, but this was a new low. My boyfriend and I arrived about 3 pm on a weekday. There were TWO other tables occupied on the patio (which by the way, stunk and was littered with old coffee cups). 15 minutes pass. Nothing. So we got our own menus. Finally, after about 25 minutes the waitress appears. She looks a... read more

Avoid as much as you can, weekends even worse... – Low quality food & service We went there for breakfast, got cold coffee, bad service and OK food. Only one omelet out of 6 dishes we ordered was fine. The service is not good and its not professional (Almost scary and frightening. It is a bakery but we didnt receive fresh pastries. Wont go there again. B Grade for months. Friendly advice: STAY AWAY

Health-minded desserts served in a laid-back Main Street bakery. – In Short Mani's serves organic goodies to a coffeehouse clientele, which ranges from script-toting industry types to lunching families. Mani's does not use any artificial colors, sweeteners or preservatives in its famous bakery items. Pie crusts are organic, using whole wheat flour and naturally sweetened buttercream frosting coats cake selections, like the banana and silken truffle ganache-layered Zebra. Egg dishes, sandwiches and salads are also served.

Great Breakfast! – I love this place. The Acai is absolutely delicious and so are all of their baked goods. The Sandwiches also are quite good. Service is good but it gets very crowded especially on the weekends.

mani's – best: non-desert foods. (I need some sugar in my deserts)! I realize that their are people who cannot have sugar-but that's not me. Overall, I really like the quality of foods there. And I love most of their muffins, (especially the blueberry) and I like the fact that there is no sugar in them. But for me muffins are part of what I think of as non-desert.

disappointment – mani's used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast, but i have to say, the last few times i was there will probably be my last. the food was fine but by no means great, and the service left much to be desired.

Who would have known? – Who would have known that healthy deserts could taste so good? I've never really been into organic or vegan type deserts, but Mani's does them right! Try the chocolate cupcakes. All the cookies are great too. They make a great Chai latte!

And the Coffee-- – The folks at Mani's know how to serve up semi-sweet love. If it's healthy and comes from an oven, it's from Mani's. They have fresh and healthy down to an art form. Try the Chocolate Raspberry Fortress--God made chocolate and raspberries to go together. Nice staff, too; not so good parking, watch the meters--SMPD likes to ticket. (If you happen find yourself on Ocean Av, instead of Main St, the warm chocolate bread pudding at Ocean Avenue Seafood is a great choice.)
