I LOVE the Arboretum!! I used to take my children when it first opened a long time ago. I remember hiking and a planned scavenger hunt for arrowheads. They loved to walk the trails and see everything. We went back recently to take my daughter's college graduation pictures there! It is awesome! We had moved to MI and now live in SC so I had not been in 15 years and I LOVED all the new additions!! The Bonsai Garden was amazing! It is a beautiful place to visit. We plan on returning very soon for a full day of exploring!

The plant collection contains an excellent representative sample of native species to the area, and the bonsai exhibit is awesome!

I didn't allot enough time. The layout was innovative with sculpture among the plants. I will definitely return when I am in the area.

Beautiful place, definitely worth the family membership if you live close by, many trails to explore, educational exhibits for the kids. The special winter lights, once a year there are pretty, but not worth the extra money. But the day to day Arboretum gardens, exhibits, and trails are definitely worth it.
