Helpful staff/volunteers, beautiful, well kept area. Highly recommended! Parking is reasonable with more than one person.
The North Carolina arboretum in Bent Creek is a beautiful and well kept garden. Trees, flowers and foliage spread across several acres of mountainous land with statues, stone and wooden structures, fine metalwork gates and beautiful trails. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area. 30 minutes west of Asheville, and $12 per car you will enjoy a day of fresh air and scenery. Triple A discounts are available for members if you want to save a few dollars. Your kids will love it.
I loved it, even though it was raining! Delightfully surprised!
I came up from Polk County to see the Monarchs. I was not disappointed. Spent some time wandering the gardens and trails. Looking forward to finding my way back here soon for all the Fall changes.
