Food was great, and very cool to be in such a historic building! The portions are pretty small (except for the burger) so be prepared if you're going with folks who have bigger appetites. Food plating is lovely and flavors are unique and truly very, very good. Cocktails and wine were also great. Service was kind of slow, from taking our orders to food arriving. The shakshuka was maybe the worst I've ever had, just two over cooked poached eggs placed in a dish of some sort of non-descript, non-delicious, thick, overly tart puree. The eggs benny were a little bit better, same over cooked poached eggs served on a bed of canned chopped up green chilis, but the hollandaise was very good. It said it came with bacon, yes, 3/4 of one nearly burnt strip placed sadly on top. Oh brother! My daughter and I went half and half on our meals, so I was able to review both meals.
No better place for a pre-theater dinner and drinks! We had less than an hour before the show and they rushed the food out for us. Every dish and both cocktails were DELICIOUS. Such a cute atmosphere too. Did not disappoint!
Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful.
