The Edition Hotel in the Flatiron District is my home away from home. The front desk staff is so friendly and kind. I am especially treated so well by Andrea Lumba. She always inquires about my trip, my family and what she can do for me during my stay. Her kindness is exceptional - in all my travels I have never experienced such sincerity in wanting to make sure as a guest that your needs are met and when possible, exceeded. Amazing experience. Was able to get my room before 8am already. Room on the 38th floor with fantastic views. Lots of extras included in the room rate. Had breakfast in the clocktower restaurant which for my taste is a bit dark and also a bit too cold from A/C. But staff and food very nice.

Absolutely awful hotel. How on earth is this rated 5 stars? The service is worse than a cheap shop. Or maybe I was treated this way because I’m Asian? Either way, it’s the worst. I left clothes behind, and the hotel offered to either ship them or keep them until my next business trip. Since our company travels to New York every 2–3 weeks, I chose the latter.
