Rich and I have eaten at New York Co. many times and always enjoy it, often starting out with drinks and shrimp cocktails in their amiable cocktail lounge!
Had a lovely light Friday evening dinner tonight. The clam chowder was perfect, the artichoke crostini delicious followed by the grapefruit avocado mandarin orange salad. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Always a relaxing evening!
Service was good but the food was blah. Had the French Dip and the presentation of THREE dinner rolls with cold beef and loads of french fries looked like a plate of starch.
Go there for dinner while I'm Palm Springs. Nice lounge for an after dinner cocktail too. Very low key

Thank you Neil and Wally. We had a fantastic dinner last Saturday. I thought I had died and gone to heaven with the Bread Pudding with Vanilla Bean ice cream. Truly awesome. And Bruce....I can't say enough about him. He ranks in the top five of the best servers I have had over the past 45 years, anywhere in the world. In introducing the food and desert offerings made them special and romantic. A true keeper.
