Four of us were in town visiting. Two of our party ordered the strip steak. They were the size of a German sausage, over done and heavily peppered. They did give us a credit on our bill but that did not make up for the disappointment. The other two meals were ok. Probably will not go back.
Fun atmosphere, but the restaurant was almost empty. Food was just ok. The duck was great but veggies were cool, not even warm. We all had the same complaint. Probably won't go back, unfortunately. Might visit the bar though. They had a great piano player. Drinks were great! Also, they ran out of the New York steak. How is that possible with only like 4 tables full in the whole restaurant?
Great brunch, great service. A bit off the beaten path so you didn't have to wait and hour for a table. I think once the word gets out there will be lines to get in
The prime rib was really good and their staff was really friendly. It's kind of dark in there but it's part of the ambiance. I would tell my friends about it and would go again. We hit the twilight special and it was great for the price.
In my week here in Palm Springs I've had some exceptional food. That said: this is the best restaurant I've been to here. Stacey the server is a delight. The half rack of ribs were perfection and very satisfying. I stuck with beer, but was told Joey the bartender can build any kind of martini you can imagine. And on Friday and Saturday nights the piano bar is helmed by Tommy Dodson, a talented fellow with some definite Tony Bennett chops, who would have been right at home at Nye's Polonaise Room. Lived here for 6 years- it's a hidden gem- awesome chef, Easily the best meal in Palm Springs & Joe is the best damn bartender from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon.
