Ordered quad espresso macchiato 6 oz as advertised along with acai protein bowl. Got a double instead of a quad under 4.3 oz including the milk & cup. Weight measured when I got home on a very accurate food scale. These folks are not cheap and cheating customers out of coffee is really bad and shady practice. Their breakfast sandwiches that I've ordered before are all mediocre at best.
I want to like this place so much more than I do. I've gone here a couple of times for iced lattes, and the drink always winds up looking too pale in color, and I can never really taste the coffee. They don't seem to be adding enough espresso. Also, for the amount of space in the cafe, it seems so empty. It'd be great if they had some unique decor to make it more inviting. LOVE New World Cafe! Bright, open place that's great for meeting folks or getting work done. Delicious food and killer coffee, especially the pour-over offerings. Highly recommended!
Came an hour before closing. No hot food available. Kitchen is closed. Only espresso available as coffee system has been cleaned. Tables and chairs up and cleaned. Pistachio latte was good. And lemon cookie was good. Didn’t feel very welcoming as it felt closed already
