We went to Hellbender for a late lunch. We entered the host/hostess area and the hostess was in the phone. We stood there for a few minutes and she never once acknowledged our presence. We were seated and our wait staff person was very good, very prompt, professional and kind. My wife had a salmon salad and I had brisket dip sandwich. Had Brunch here, the lobster mac-n-cheese was excellent. The Cuban crepé was great as well. Also had and ash-n-oak & a day Walker, both phenomenal!
We've been here previously before but today was a huge disappointment. We got seated to a dirty table with french fries all over the floor and our seats were so dirty that we couldn't sit in the seats. We actually had to complain for them to clean the seats and floor so we could sit. It actually smelled so bad that we were unable to order due to this deterring smell. We decided to walk out and go elsewhere.
Stayed here for two nights as a homebase for some hiking and being able to walk too places in town. We ended up eating here twice because the food was so delicious. Cofee and smoothies in the morning were also a nice touch. Definitely would recommend staying here both for the food, location, and service.
