About this business

The NeuroCognitive Institute (NCI) was established in 1994 and initially named the NeuroRehab Institute. Since this92242385 time, we have remained committed to our scientist-practitioner model upon which the institute was founded. This model requires that our doctors remain actively involved in research but from within a private practice setting. This gives our patients the exposure to recent and ongoing developments within the clinical neurosciences without the bureaucracy and interpersonal alienation often experienced at l... read more

Believe all of the reviews that point out how terrible the scheduling and follow up of this place is. I had been referred here for an assessment by my Nurse Practitioner with suspected ADHD. I completed the intake, provided my insurance, and agreed to testing sessions recommended for my particular background except for the brain mapping, which wasn’t covered by my insurance. Once I completed all scheduled testing (which took multiple days and multiple sessions, all of which were billed to my insurance promptly), I didn’t hav... read more

I promise this isn’t just some one off bad experiment with some crazy patient. This genuinely was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any institution. Imagine getting prescribed a drug in which you can never contact your nurse or doctor, even when you need a new refill but you’re stuck withdrawing from said medication. Exploiting mental issues like memory to s... read more

I went to see them as an adult for potential adhd. Everything was covered by insurance and staff were fantastic. The most unorganized group I've ever dealt with. After being on waiting lists for my son for years with reputable offices I was excited when I granted an appointment here with barely a wait time - now I understand why! They outsourced their scheduling/billing/Etc to another country (which they don't seem to understand the concept of a child being in school during the day or having activities later in the afternoon on certain days), they make up a schedule and then charge you cancelation fees when you didn't even approve of d... read more
