Taking Hypnobirthing with the Nesting Place was the best decision I could have made during my pregnancy. It prepared me for labor and delivery and equipped me with the skills to have a smooth and Easy delivery. Kim is so knowledgeable and taught an amazing class (even via Zoom during COVID) the range of services and support the Nesting Place provides is amazing. Highly recommended!
I am so thankful that I found this place. They have made my pregnancy so much better during COVID 19. I was pretty depressed and felt very isolated prior to finding Alison who has helped me beyond words. I highly recommend the pregnancy group and individual therapy if you are having a hard time due to the pandemic or for any reason.I am also using a doula for my birth in Jan and can hardly wait.

Being pregnant during the pandemic was really getting to me. I was looking up support groups and came across The Nesting Place with a free support group ran by Alison on Wednesdays. This was the best thing as a way to vent and learn about what's going on with my pregnancy as well as talking to other pregnant women in the pandemic which really helped my own health in knowing that I'm not alone. My husband and I took the private childbirth education class with Janna Goodman and it was extremely helpful! As first time parents we were overwhelmed with how much information there is out there, but Janna did a great job breaking it down for us. We loved that it was offered as a one-on-one class, as everything was tailored to our needs and we never felt uncomfortable asking questions. As a first time mom there is so much that I didn’t know. Alison and Barb were there every step of the way. I highly recommend this place. They are super helpful and extremely informative. And did I mention the prenatal massages! They’re services put me at ease during my pregnancy and after the birth of my daughter. Love them!!

Alison and Barbara are the sweetest ladies and are so supportive. Due the the pandemic restrictions on support people I was not able to have Alison in the delivery room with me for labor with my daughter but in the weeks prior and day of birth she was so supportive over the phone and I’m so happy the Nesting Place helped me prepare for my first baby and allowed for a calm happy birth!!
I could not have found a better teacher to support me during my pregnancy than Janna who led my prenatal yoga and mommy and me classes. I always felt listened to, cared for, and supported before, during, and after the birth of my children. Pregnancy is so hard on the body and Janna always knew just what to do to help ease those aches and pains. She had a nice combination of pushing me to strengthen/prepare, help me to relax, and encourage me to connect to the baby in the womb. Both children have been part of the baby and me ... read more
