called repeatedly x 3 months to refer a patient finally someone answered and I am on a 21 minute hold even though I tried to say I just needed the fax number for a referral. meanwhile, the patient is still suffering .I will wait on hold but Im not having a good feeling about this. I know UNM neurology " cherry picks" its patients so even if I send a referral that is no guarantee that the patient will even be seen! Everyone — and I mean everyone — is very friendly and helpful. The neurologist (Dr. Hainline) is one of the best we've seen, and we (my husband and I) both have MS and have seen many neurologists. The medical students were great, too.
Not very friendly today at the check in desk. I shouldn't be treated like I'm stupid. I have a disability that is why I go to this clinic, patience at the front desk would be kinder.
Have been trying for four months to get them to send necessary information to my insurance for a voice assist device with no luck. Her prescription is about to run out. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. The providers give poor aftercare.
