Long overdue update: After giving birth to my first child at the Natural Birth Place in 2017, I came back for my second in 2019. Not only that: in 2022, my third child was born here, too! :) After my first child birth, it was pretty clear that I wanted to come back to Maria, as I couldn't really imagine delivering somewhere else. I had a 12lb baby naturally and without tearing at The Natural Birth Place. My baby and I were so incredibly healthy thanks to these women. The care I received was beyond anything I expected. They monitored me and my son constantly with such gentle care and consideration. If I had gone the OB route, he would have been a C-section and there would have been so much more fear and stress. I switched to The Natural Birth Place mid-pregnancy after a poor experience with a local ob/gyn and maternal fetal specialist in the local area. Maria and her wonderful staff made me feel at ease and delivered world-class care. I delivered a healthy baby girl and cannot praise the team highly enough. The team helped source colostrum when I had difficulties and connected me with an excellent pediatrician after delivery. I just wish every woman knew about this option!
