Honestly one of the best jewelry shops I’ve ever been to. Staff aren’t only professional and helpful, but they are genuine hobbyists in the opal world. Would recommend a visit to anyone interested in opals because it’s as much of a museum as it is a jewelry stone
Purchased an Opal pendant from here today. It is absolutely stunning, the craftsmanship is flawless. The man who served us, who is also the jeweller there, was very lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend having a look!

The National Opal Collection Melbourne is one of the most interesting places to visit in the Melbourne CBD. The opal museum is very informative and explains the history of Australian opal and Lightning Ridge mining, and the showroom has a beautiful range of opal jewellery. The staff were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different types of Australian opal and how they are formed. If you are looking for Australian opals or opal jewellery in Melbourne, this is definitely worth visiting.
