I love going to the FIRST NON-TOXIC nail salon in Gainesville ! :) Mhika is so welcoming, sweet, and talented! I’ve been seeing her for over a year now. Her space is beautiful as she’s put a lot of time into creating Velvet Aura. It makes me feel very comfortable, especially since it’s one-on-one. Velvet Aura is the only salon I’ll go to in town! Mhika is so amazing at what she does and makes sure her team is on par with the same level of service. The space is so relaxing it’s such a haven compared to other salons where you leave with a headache from the fumes, or just being overwhelmed by the constant door opening. Being appointments-only means you get such a personalized experience and your tech isn’t trying to manage running the store simultaneously. I found out about Mhika from a coworker. If you are looking for intentional manicures with hardy hard gel and amazing designs she is your girl! Every month i look forward to getting my nails done with her especially because of the durability! I am rough with my hands and her technique passes the test! 5 stars!!
She always killing the game with my nails! Great convos and whatever she’s playing on the tv is so addicting! I couldn’t recommend her enough, she’s professional, kind and incredibly knowledgeable.
Was recommended @Mhikanails by a colleague and let's just say after that first appt., I have been to no one else since! Nice clean environment and if I'm lucky, we are watching a Disney classic as I get my nails done so it's a win win!
