I have been coming here for years and although they would always have me waiting sometimes a whole hour after my scheduled appointment time to be seen by the nail tech, I never complained because I loved how my nails came out every time. About a month ago I was admitted to the hospital for emergency open heart surgery….. the front desk calls me to confirm my appointment I let her know I was in the hospital and won’t be able to make it… and she still charged me the late fee despite the very serious circumstances. I’ve been to this location before. Staff is nice. This review is for this last experience only and more so for the technician that did my nails. It started with her charging me $5 to remove 3 specs of gel from my hands. It was not even half the nail it was the tips of 3 nails that she quickly filed off. Then she didn’t use any electrical filing or cuticle removing tools. She did everything manual and pressed so hard down my nails that the next day my fingers felt like a door slammed on my hands. I was disappointed with my experience at The Nail Garden, especially for the price I paid. I booked a Nail Garden pedicure for myself and a kids mani-pedi for my 10-year-old daughter. When we arrived, the receptionist questioned my daughter’s age and said the kids service was usually for smaller children. However, their website clearly states the kids mani-pedi is for ages 4–10 and priced at $25, which is exactly why I booked it. I've been coming here for years, and one of the girls who helped me was very kind and told me to schedule my November appointment because they're filling up quickly. I explained which day would be best for me because I have an important trip, and she said no problem, I could come at 8 am. I said perfect!
