If you’re in Newport and looking for a fantastic nail salon, The Nail Files is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely at ease with their warm smiles and friendly vibe. My nail tech (I wish I remembered her name!) was the absolute sweetest. She’s a retired teacher, and it shows in the most wonderful way – incredibly thoughtful, careful, and so attentive to detail. Worst mani pedi I received in RI. Place is not clean. Don’t use disposable covers for pedicure tanks, nails and nail dust everywhere. Mani pedi quality was also low. Didn’t fully remove my previous regular polish. Barely cut/file my nails. Staff was friendly. I really wanted to find reasons to like this place. Not going back.

My daughter and I got pedicures and I got a manicure with Tiffany and the other girl working. They did an excellent job and both were so personable. We had some fun conversations and good laughs. Will go back for sure.
