I visited this salon after having a horrible experience at another salon in Middletown. They took care of me immediately and were the kindest ladies! They gave me exactly what I asked for and more! Offered me a heated neck wrap when I came in and took their careful time on my nails to make sure they were perfect! They were very kind and patient with their customers and made sure I left loving my nails! I am very picky about my nails and I have absolutely no complaints, they killed it. If you’re in Newport and looking for a fantastic nail salon, The Nail Files is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely at ease with their warm smiles and friendly vibe. My nail tech (I wish I remembered her name!) was the absolute sweetest. She’s a retired teacher, and it shows in the most wonderful way – incredibly thoughtful, careful, and so attentive to detail. Worst mani pedi I received in RI. Place is not clean. Don’t use disposable covers for pedicure tanks, nails and nail dust everywhere. Mani pedi quality was also low. Didn’t fully remove my previous regular polish. Barely cut/file my nails. Staff was friendly. I really wanted to find reasons to like this place. Not going back.
