The MV Skansonia and staff are a class act (unlike this wedding guest). My brother married the woman of his dreams there and it was the most beautiful, organized and meticulously coordinated event I have ever attended. From the location, ambiance and decor, to the cuisine and hospitality of staff, it was a remarkable celebration and experience that will never be forgotten. In particular, Anita the coordinator, went above and beyond expectations. She truly orchestrated the perfect night!
From our first meeting to after our big day, the staff and owner at MV Skansonia welcomed us and helped us celebrate a beautiful reception. They were very accommodating and the venue was perfect for our wedding reception. We had a great time and our guests did as well. Melissa and Devon were friendly and professional. Highly recommend you check out this venue.
We were married on the Skansonia in December 2017 and the staff was AMAZING (shoutout to our day of coordinator Melissa-- you rock!)! They made everything beyond easy--all I had to worry about was relaxing and having a great time :) HIGHLY recommend them. On a side note all of my guests can't stop raving about the food! LOVE love love the Skansonia.
Attended a wedding this last Sunday and I can't even begin to describe how truly wonderful this place is! Yes it was hot, yes it was a little uncomfortable but at the end of the day it was wonderful and wouldn't have been as great as it was without this venue really putting their all into making a memorable day for the brides. Thank you so much!

I was a co-matron of honor for my best friend Teresa's wedding on Friday and was nothing short of amazed! The venue is beautiful and staff are wonderful. The service was over the top! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and so much fun. I cannot say enough great things! Thank you for taking such great care of us and providing such a wonderdul place for Teresa and Fred Ricchio to get married!!! I loved it!
My hubby and I just had on our wedding at the MV Skansonia in late June. I really can't say enough good things about it, we had an incredible time! Devon and Melissa are rockstars and made sure everything went according to plan. We didn't have a DJ, instead my older brother was manning the music and they worked with him on everything so all the correct songs got played at the right time.
