RecommendedToday was our first time visiting Kennett Square! The first shop we chose to visit was the Mushroom Cap and Holly was amazing!! She was so kind, and she gave us so much history about the little town!! We really loved listening to it! She is seriously such a beautiful soul! We cannot wait to come back during Christmas and visit her again!!

This is the place! The place that exists to provide great access to a variety of fresh mushrooms, mushroom paraphernalia, and celebrates local history. If you're coming to Kennett Square it's every bit as important as a visit to Longwood.
Took a trip to Kennet Square this weekend. Hours listed for the Mushroom Cap for Sunday were 11-3. Wasn’t open today, very disappointed.

Sorry to have disappointed you. The Mushroom Cap has been closed January, February & March on Sundays for several years. We will open Sundays beginning April 8th this year. Must remember to edit the hours. Thank you for your comment.
Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Wow! Mushroom heaven. The proprietor was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean, well lit and smells amazing! The products were reasonably priced, especially the fresh mushrooms, which were delicious. Speaking of delicious, the Snack N Shrooms mushroom chips are amazing! Can't wait to get back there! Thank you!
