I'm reading reviews. Listen to me . You will be shocked that a plant based diet , CHIA SEEDS, FLAX SEED POWDER♡and certain seafoods ( oysters clams, the good quality salmon has omega 3. Look it up) These are excellent for reduction in psychotic episodes. Drink bottled water more than 4x(or Brita water). Stop your smoking and drinking!!! Instead, get the hell out of your room and jog or walk by the beach or park, as far as you can go. Place your feet on clean green grass or sand and walk( grounding). Terrible hospital. I called back to ask questions about a diagnoses they didn’t verbally tell me about and they were all confused then hung up on me. A bunch of fools working there for a paycheck
So long as this place keeps fascist social workers that mock patients and actively sabotages their care, it deserves one star. If you want to leave misdiagnosed and given medication and treatment that actively makes your condition worse, this is the place to go. If you're feeling suicidal and want someone to make you go from regretful you are feeling that way to regretful you didn't go through with it, this is the place to go. If you want to actually get proper medical treatment, go literally anywhere else.
Unfortunately, none of Mt. Sinai's three psychiatric adult outpatient clinics have been offering services since August 2022. Every month I call and am instructed to call at the end of the month as they have no capacity for a waitlist and might learn toward the month's end if there are any available appointment slots for the following month. They have stopped accepting calls or returning emails, and are not operational.
