BEWARE! You most ask first if you will be charged an office visit or hospital visit the next time you go to a Mount Sinai facility.
Unethical and illegal billing practices. They refuse to bill my insurance for a visit that would indeed be covered, fraudulently charged me $125 and advised it would be reimbursed once my insurance settled claim. The visit was on July 22nd, 2024 now its June 6th 2025 and still no resolution. Carmen is the worst changing the story numerous times via mychart to avoid taking ownership that mount sinai allowed a doctor to work who didnt have proper authorization in their system/insurance to be billed for patients!! Evil people. Charged 2500 for basic labs ekg and 5 mins w doctor . They treat you like scum when you ask them to explain this insanity. (With insurance!)

I always pay my copy in person there ,I got a bill out of nowhere for$70 after i check my chart i see the bill ,I try to contact them ,but o chances to talk to anyone, the bill is going up and up right now is $400 but they will never get that money from me I don't care about, I'll change the doctor and hospital Shame on them
