Yesterday was my first time at the Arboretum. I went for a Run with one of my best friends and it was an amazing inspiring place. The hills were tough, but I know that as a runner you need to work on hills to improve all aspects of your form. It is difficult to find places to run here in Chicago where you can have great hills work. It only took me 30 minutes to drive from downtown on a Saturday morning. It was worth the drive. Another inspiring note was the friendliness of the runners that you meet along the course. One out ... read more

We joined the arboretum as members this year. We have taken grandchildren there to play in the "backyard" and find their way through the maze. We have gone there to enjoy the fall colors and walk through the wonderland of Illumination. We stopped by for the Enchanted Railroad and took a brisk walk around Meadow Lake to get out into nature on a winter day. The restaurant is fantastic for grown ups as well as grandkids who are picky eaters. We're looking forward to attending future events. It's a beautiful place to spend a day... read more

Loved the Huskies at the Morton Arboretum...wish we had snow but the staff and volunteers as always are great. I'm so glad I joined the Arboretum. I love just walking the paths or taking advantage of their special programs like this.

Love Morton Arboretum, can't believe we didn't join years ago. Thanks to a very special friend I discovered the joy, beauty, peacefulness of this incredible place. I look forward to many more years of being a member. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who give of themselves so the rest of us have an amazing experience.

Kind of disappointing. Was there for Husky Heroes and there was only one set of working bathrooms and the auto faucets were really hot, daughter burned her knuckle a bit. She's fine and they did eventually turn it colder. I do think that the $32 we spent for winter entrance fee was really high. There's not much to do in the winter this year since there's no snow and everything was dead. They do keep things very clean and workers and volunteers were really friendly. The huskys were fun to interact with too.
