We had such a beautiful stay at The Moorings. The property is absolutely stunning, right on the lake with the most peaceful views. The villa has a gorgeous Aussie country style, and the garden is truly something special! You can really feel the love and care that’s gone into it. There’s so much to do without even leaving the property: kayaking, paddleboarding, sauna, fishing, and even a veggie garden and orchard. It made the whole stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Wow, what a special place and stay! :) David was a great host and the accommodation was amazing, with beautiful views of the lake. We had the best time exploring the gardens, taking in the beautiful view and going for a swim and a paddle. We’d definitely come back here any day! Thank you for a wonderful weekend - we had such a fantastic time!
Just incredible, the location is perfect, so close to the beach and shops but you don’t really need to leave. The grounds were stunning, the sauna was perfect, located so you can watch the sunset while in there. Kitchen and BBQ is all well equipped and easy use. Such a beautiful place. Definitely will be back
The Lakehouse Suite is a dream! We were lucky enough to discover a couple of vacant nights midweek whilst looking for a last minute getaway. We at first couldn’t believe our luck but when we arrived, it felt too good to be true. The entire property is breathtaking and we felt so fortunate that Elaine and her family were sharing this so generously with others.
