The brews were soo yummy and the food was amazing! The environment was calm and positive and our service was attentive but left us to have our conversations of the night. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Once a week my best friend 20 years and I go try out a new place and have a few beers. He told me about this place and spoke very highly. All I can say is it was an honor to have dined and endulged in exquisite beers here this fine evening. The food was great,even for a strictly IPA guy, the beers (every one of them) were great and the service was absolutely stellar if you are lucky enough to have Crystal as your waitress your night will be a great success all-around great place. It's the simple things that add up or in this case, it doesn't add up... I have pretty well been in just about every kind of restaurant, dinner, and some holes in the wall in 39 of our states and a handful of other countries. Here's our experience last night: Service continued to be very poor thru out the meal. Late in greeting us and taking our order and asking if we needed anything... We went in excited about the menu, we were seated quickly. However we waited and waited to place our order. The server who was helping tables all around us passed by us 4 times with not a word. We would have understood if there was an issue. I am in food service. Just a hello I will be the in a minute would have gone a long way. When she helped another table ,passing us the 4th time without a word, we walked out.
This is difficult to rate. The food was good; hub's thought it was better than good. The service, however, was TERRIBLE. From the hostess, who was rude to us, to our server who ignored us and had to be all but grabbed (literally) as she passed by in order to even begin to try to resolve the issues (cold food and thus inedible being the major one). If you've been looking for a great local, traditional pub, Monk's is it. In house beers and local ones on tap are phenomenal, and the quality of food for the price is second to none. I have been going here since it opened and have no been disappointed with quality or service. I highly recommend this place to everyone I meet, there is nowhere else like it in the area. Very professional, friendly yet sophisticated atmosphere. Best place to be with friends. I will see you all on Feb 18th for my birthday!

First time visiting, had some great brews and was an absolutely great lunch on my 40th birthday!!! Have the Scotch Egg! So good I done bought me a hat. Definitely a solid stop that is worth making.
Didn't know about this gem in Roseville, Ca went here for the first time with my friend Brooke Costa. The duck fat fries and pretzel bites were so good!..had my first Ruben sandwich and it was also good!
