Friendly, helpful and attenstive staff. Beers were good, duck fat fries were amazing. The pretzel balls were interesting to say the least but it paired really well with their beers in my opinion. Burgers were great and the mac and cheese that night was cooked to be what seemed like tomato bisque cheese sauce with jalepenos, it thought it was amazing. Great food, good friends and great service can't really ask for much more on a night out.
They need a new chef � Food was terrible along with an unnecessary long wait and they weren't even full. Manager was very nice.
My son's and I stopped at Monk's Cellar, first time there for all of us..service was great, the selection of beers kept my son's interested in returning...i enjoyed the Mission Margarita! Will be back next time I am in Sacramento
This was my first time here and where to begin. The food speaks for itself, it is simple with a bit of an upscale flare. The Decore and atmosphere are very inviting. The service is out of this world, very friendly and informative, I really hope The Monks Cellar does well. I have seen a lot oh eateries come into this spot and fail. The Monks Cellar has been here for just about three years, I hope that it is the exception to this trend.
Celebrating my daughters 8th birthday at Monks - her request!!! Two years in a row - Tom and Andy you have stolen her foodie heart.
Great food great staff great atmosphere! Highly recommend.
