Have had a porter a couple of times. Not sure if it's the friends or the place, but it's been great.
The food here is really good, but the waitress was downright surly. At one point, refilled my water glass, and slammed it back on the table so hard it sloshed over. Then she just walked away without saying anything. The duck fat fries are awesome, although the menu said it came with aioli, but they were served with ketchup. The ribs were delicious and the bbq sauce divine. The cottage pie was really good -- and even better with a bit of the bbq sauce on it. :-) My dining companion really liked the "Wolf in the Abbey" ale.
Great people, great food and beautiful restaurant, you can't go wrong w/ monks. Highly recommend!!
Great place in Roseville to eat, drink and be merry! The manager Lewis is super funny and friendly!! Make sure to compliment his beard and give him a little hell. Definitely, one of my favorite local hang outs. Don't pass it up!!
Ok sat night I get it, but there is no excuse for running out of pretzels, and mashed potatoes and whatever else they said they were out of. I was very disappointed.
Food was good. Service was so-so. Duck fat fries are to die for!
LOVED it! The food and beer selection was awesome! The service INCREDIBLE! I will be back!
