I went to visit a good friend of mine there. Upon entering a woman at the front desk was very short and rude. Didn’t even make eye contact. I shrugged it off and proceeded to make my way to see my friend. In the main entrance and going towards the hallways, tons of elderly in wheelchairs, just sitting there. There must have been at least 15 or so. The disturbing part is, I looked around for quite some time to see who was possibly tending to these people, and there was not one. I know three of the current residents at The Mission at Agua Fria and knew a fourth who has moved out of state since living there. Because of these relationships, I find myself visiting there on a regular basis. The facility always looks clean and well kept and there always seems to be monthly/seasonally appropriate decor and activities offered and promoted for the residents.
