The knowledge I gained from Tina & Ginger at their breastfeeding essentials class was invaluable to me. Breastfeeding was a dream and I credit that to being fully prepared with the information I needed to resolve the small bumps in the road. I plan on attending their classes this time around as well!
I saw Tina in their office when my twins were about 5 days old. We were struggling a little and I was having some pain while nursing. She was so wonderful and gave me a lot of confidence to continue tandem nursing! She diagnosed tongue and lip ties and referred us to get them revised. Tina is the best! Absolutely loved her help as a doula and lactation consultant with the birth of my second daughter.
At the point I saw Tina, I had seen 6 other LC's. My daughter was losing weight and down to the 1st percentile, and I was about to give up breastfeeding. Tina was able to help me tremendously by identifying two big issues that none of the other 6 had been able to. While I addressed those issues, I was able to get my supply back up. If I wouldn't have seen her that day, I would've had no other choice but to resort to formula or donor milk. My daughter is 25 months old now, and still nursing. Big thanks to Tina!
Tina has been absolutely amazing in helping me on my breastfeeding journey. First with my son and then with my twins. I honestly wouldn't have made it far without her help and encouragement. When doctors didn't recognize my children's tongue ties, she did and directed me on a course of action. She is an amazing IBCLC and an amazing person. Every breastfeeding mother needs a Tina on their team!
