DO NOT MOVE HERE. Lived here for two years and there was black mold everywhere. The bathroom had horrible back mold in the bath tub, ceiling, and behind the door. Lived in the bottom floor and they never kept up on the weeds and overgrown plants and it got to the point where i couldn’t use the patio. There was a flying termite infestation and when i told maintenance they said they handled it (wasn’t the case). She moving out they charged $3000! I had my 4th flood in my mold infested and uninhabitable apartment during my 8-year residency caused by the corrupt landlord Metropolitan Apartments. Metropolitan sent their Director of Maintenance to my mold infested apartment and he used a meter reader that measures moisture and humidity, and DOES NOT detect mold! His fraudulent report given to me in writing stated that there is NO EVIDENCE OF MOLD!! I ordered my own expert mold report and the lab results verified rampant mold infestation!!!!!!!
The lady at the front desk, Megan Massey, took exceptional care of me as a walk-in today. I got a full tour of the sample 1-bed. She helped me decide which floor, showed me the amenities and facilities, was up front about all of the costs, and had an absolutely wonderful attitude and personality. With her taking care of this place, I'm honored to have applied same day as I walked in. This woman deserves a raise. -Joe D
The metropolitan east goshen is a glamorized apartment that, in reality, is cheaply maintained and constructed. As many others note, the only positive to my experience has been Ian and the rest of the maintenance team. We were charged over $700 for carpet replacement fees despite the fact that carpets are (I’m pretty sure) replaced every lease turnover.
