I moved to Denver2 years ago with no place to stay got this place with out thinking twice. I think some of the reviews are a little sensationalized it from people with bad experiences. For the price it’s manageable and they don’t gouge you for extending month to month. The building is from the 80s so there are problems with the infrastructure and insulation but it’s Denver so the weather was always nice to me. I would like to start off by saying that I loved living here for the first 9 months of my stay, I am not here to bash them, just state my experience. The past couple months have been frustrating, and the last week has been disheartening. I moved out yesterday. I have still not received a reply about the prorated rent that I owe, and the portal does not reflect the correct amount- only the regular amount that is due each month. Living here is a nightmare. Place is falling apart. Broken washers and dryers for over a year and a half. The heat in the entire building shut off on the coldest days in the winter, for nearly 24 hours each time. I have had to call the cops three times because homeless people were banging on my door in the middle of the night. Both elevators are currently broken and our building is filled with elderly people who can not use the stairs. On June 4, 2024, my husband and I returned home to find a “Demand for Payment” posted on our door stating “if we do not pay $0 by June 7, we will receive a 50 dollar late fee.” We already paid our rent on June 1, which we have been doing so the past three years without ever being late. When we shared our concerns with the new office manager downstairs, (who was nice about the situation) he shared that everyone in the building received this notice but he did not know why or how.
