Met charged for move out damages that did not exist. They walk through the apartment after you move out. Total scam! BE AWARE!
RecommendedAmazing experience this year! The staff are really helpful and I love the condition of these apartments. The apartments are very spacious especially the kitchen and rooms and am excited for the rest of the year!

Made the students pay full lease when they couldn't go to school due to the Covid! Increased rent for 20/21 but offered new tenants a price cut.
Really friendly staff but that's all nothing is good other than that
ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT MONEY. Yeah, this place looks nice and some of the people are nice, but I don’t recommend this place. You’re screwed if you’re in a lease. Terrible business.
Management is only concerned about money and not students safety or security. Once you have signed your lease if you do have a serious issue good luck you are on your own. There are other places to live in SC that are so much better and customer service oriented.
I write this review with the purpose of trying to save people from making the same mistake that I did by signing a lease with The Metropolitan. Hopefully, I can help some people looking for the right place to live in State College make a better-informed decision.
