Grimy, sleasy, unclassy owners. Lawsuit being filed against them in Madison Wi for civil theft at another building they just purchased, and illegally barred current employees/legal tenants from attending work/stealing cash registers
Great service, smiling facesand an assortment of items to choose from! Have been stopping at least once a year for 38 years on the annual ferry trip!
Unethical business practices.
Shame on D-Port, owners of The Merrimac Scoop, for breaking a current lease with Chocolate Shoppe in Madison, and locking out their legal tenant. This may be the dumbest business move I’ve ever heard of. Our community stands by our local vendors, and unless D-Port solves this rapidly and favorably to Chocolate Shoppe, it is unlikely that any business opened in the former Chocolate Shoppe location will enjoy that same community support.
They bought out a wildly popular ice cream shop in Madison and then closed it!
Depends. Make peace with the Atwood Ave Chocolate Shoppe in Madison and we'll bejust fine.
