The only reason I’m giving it 1 star is because of the lady at the front desk, Rochelle. She was as helpful as she can be. if you can’t afford anything else, stay here, but for peace of mind, avoid it. They have no staff after 4pm, it’s all virtual check in, which can be efficient, but they don’t do it well. We waited to long (after a long day of travel) to get a text back. I do not recommend this place. We recently booked a two night accommodation. Upon getting to the hotel, we were texted a different address to a different location. Once there when we entered the room, another guest showed up. We called the agent and apparently it was a shared accommodations. Although it does state no more than four people per room maximum which we were two adults and two children they booked another person to share the room with us. Checked into the room at 7pm and found the bedding wet! Had to text their virtual front desk to inform them as this property doesn’t have any onsite staff. We were sent a code to a storage room where bedding was supposed to be - but nothing in there but towels. We stripped the bed and now noticed that the bed was wet from the sheets and the room smelt musky. Texted them again and requested a new room but were told they didn’t have any available. Extremely Disappointing Stay at The Meridian Miami Beach I recently stayed at The Meridian Miami Beach with family and friends, and our experience was truly awful from start to finish. We had multiple rooms, and every single one of them was in unacceptable condition. The rooms were filthy, the floors hadn’t been properly cleaned, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the white curtains were torn and stained.
