Oh man, the best advice I could give as a 4 year resident is to run away. I have only stayed due to proximity to my school, job and friends. This building is poorly built with super thin walls and flooring. The trash shoot has been broken for MONTHS and frequently is shut down. One of the two elevators is likely out of commision on any given day, and their "security" is seen once in a blue moon. The owner of this building has charged me 18% rent increases two years in a row. This building is UNSAFE to live in: HUGE homelessness problem- security is majorly lacking. I have opened my door to find a man sleeping on the floor in front of my unit. I have gone to the elevator and found people sleeping on the common area couch/ floor/ playing with toys?? at least FIVE TIMES. Dog feces in the parking garage, urine in the stairways, super thin walls, locks and security systems being changed and not being given the codes even... read more
